Solsken Clothing was founded in April 2007 and offers a unique blend of alternative flair and classically elegant style at reasonable prices. Solsken Clothing specializes in handmade steel boned corsets, classic Gothic designs and alternative clothing for both men and ladies.

Apart from our exclusive range; we also design and manufacture wedding dresses and evening dresses. We are also able manufacture the following on custom clothing special request:

All clothing items and accessories which are sold under the Solsken Clothing brand name are manufactured solely by Solsken Clothing and only top quality materials are used in our productions.

If you are unable to come to our factory to be measured for custom clothing, a detailed measurement sheet will be emailed to you to complete and send back to us. It is of the utmost importance that this sheet is filled in correctly as to avoid ill-fitting garments. Solsken Clothing cannot accept any responsibility should the measurements be filled in incorrectly.

Solsken Clothing is a registered exporter, so we are able to process International orders and ship them anywhere in the world. Please note that International orders are subject to the current exchange rate and prices do not include package and postal/delivery costs. Orders will be sent as insured parcel via Air Mail Post or DHL depending on your preference.

International payments are to be made as Bank Authorized Cash Swift transfers.

About the owner

Thelma Haupt is the founding owner of Solsken Clothing. She received an International Diploma in Fashion design from Jolene’s Fashion Academy in 1981. She then chose to pursue a career in theatrical costume design; where she gained extensive knowledge and valuable experience in the fields of film, stage, fantasy, fancy dress and historical costumes.

After 26 years of working behind the scenes in the entertainment industry, in April 2007, she decided it was time for a change. She took her great love for period costume, her unconventional personality and her own personal style and elegance and combined them into a unique blend; this combination became the essence of Solsken Clothing.
